GIVING VOICE TO OUR REGIONS YOUTH!
Meetings held first Tuesday of every month 330-5pm at Noosa Parks Association Environment House (next door to Noosa Library)
The Noosa Youth Advocacy Group are leading the charge on climate action. NYAG coordinated and presented the 2021 Noosa Youth Climate Summit and are now planning an even bigger event for 2024. The ideas generated from the last summit are now being implemented in our local schools and the ripple effects are inspiring to say the least. Come and join this important group and help effect real change in our community. NYAG meets once a month and provides many exciting opportunities for environmental connections. NYAG welcomes youth of all ages, the group has representatives from Primary and Secondary school, open to homeschoolers as well. Register here.

The Noosa Youth Advocacy Group is proudly developed and facilitated by the Noosa Environmental Education Hub to provide our regions youth with a voice on the issues that mean most to them.
While working with our students in schools we came to the realisation that there was no real platform for their ideas to be heard so we went about creating the opportunity for them to participate more readily in their communities. With an ageing population of environmental groups in our region now is the time to inspire our next generation of environmental custodians though learning and action. We launched the Custodians of Place idea as a way of highlighting our approach on Reconciliation and Climate Action. We are all Custodians of the Place we live, we all have responsibility to understand and care for the ecosystems that support our existence and we are fortunate to live on Kabi Kabi lands.
The group has been strategising ways to improve sustainability within their schools, households and workplaces. Open to all ages and forms of schooling!
