Surf Code Education Workshop

Learn how to identify a RIP read the ocean conditions and surf safely.
The workshop will be delivered on the sand and we will enter into the water so no need to bring anything but yourself.
Families welcome, great way to learn how to help your kids navigate the surf and surf safely.
 

There will be 3 sessions on the beach during the Saturday of the surf comp.

Session times are: 1.30, 2.00 and 2.30 pm

The Noosa Environmental Education Hub in collaboration with Noosa World Surfing Reserve
has produced a school based education program to help our regions youth learn how to navigate our surf reserve safely.
Each year our medical centres and local hospital see a range of surfing injuries that can be prevented
if we know the rules of the surf and respect each other in the water.
